Water reservoir, forgotten dripstone cave and today, an exhibition space for contemporary art. Cisternerne situated on Frederiksberg Hill 31 meters above sea level is an old water reservoir built in 1856-1859, stretches 4.320 square meters, with 4,2 meters to the ceiling and for many decades the subterranean chambers were forgotten but in 2013 Cisternerne became a part of The Frederiksberg Museums now open to the public and offer world-class art experiences,
